If you haven't seen it yet, here is
Marco Brambilla's Civilization, a massive collage of found footage arranged as an ascending tableaux of Hell, Purgatory, Earth, and Heaven. Every little nook and cranny is crammed with tiny snippets of video imagery from innumerable sources, both recognizable and obscure. It's pretty intense.
Check out
Brambilla's website for more of his works. It seems to be a little hit and miss, (An exploration of cyber-cafe Counterstrike players? Yawn.) but if you are at all interested in video installation artworks, check out
Cyclorama and
Sequel.
Also, why do fine artists always insist on having left-to-right scrolling websites?
left to right scrolling is the best way to take-in art on the interwebs, amigo. like a stroll through a gallery. don't hate.
